PROJECT NO.3

Between 2020 and 2025, I served as Lead Graphic Artist and Illustrator for Global Press Journal, an award-winning, multilingual international news publication. Working alongside journalists across Africa, South America, and Asia, I supported reporting that centered local audiences while resonating globally. The organization’s mission—to produce nuanced, high-impact journalism that drives community change, challenges entrenched narratives, and rebuilds trust in media—deeply shaped my approach to visual storytelling.

In this role, I created original illustrations and data visualizations designed to be both visually compelling and culturally relevant. Each project required in-depth research and collaboration with reporters to ensure that imagery, style, color palettes, and local details authentically reflected the communities being represented. My goal was always to create work that felt meaningful and recognizable to readers in each region.

This experience was both creatively and personally transformative. It pushed me to grow as an artist, collaborator, and storyteller, while deepening my understanding of the experiences we all share as human beings.
